This role will combine bike repairs and maintenance with sales and customer service, offering the opportunity to engage with customers while supporting the smooth operation of our Outpost.

Responsibilities
Provide information about Transition Bikes, our history, and our products
Set up and assist customers with demo bikes and new bikes
Tend the bar and serve alcohol and bar snacks to customers
Assist with general sales and inquiries
Perform opening and closing duties
Help maintain the demo fleet by cleaning and preparing demo bikes
Stock, label, organize, and merchandise products
Monitor and respond to emails and phone calls
Perform bike repairs and maintenance on customer bikes, demo fleet bikes, and showroom bikes
Help maintain the demo fleet, including cleaning and prepping bikes for customers
Assemble new bikes for the showroom floor and for customer orders
Offer feedback to product development and customer service teams to improve quality control and customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of mountain bikes, components, and accessories
Good organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean workspace
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work weekends
Must have, or be eligible to earn, a valid M.A.S.T permit to serve alcohol (must be 21+)
Must live in, or be willing to relocate to, Bellingham, WA
Preferred
1+ years of experience in a bike shop is preferred
3+ years of experience in retail sales is preferred
