Responsibilities
Invoicing: Process and verify invoices to ensure all vendor payments are issued accurately and on time
Collections: Address outstanding balances and follow up with clients to ensure prompt collection of premiums
Payment Processing: Manage incoming checks from clients and process refund checks for vendors as needed
Record Keeping: Maintain organized records and assist with basic account reconciliations
Communication: Professionally handle phone calls or emails regarding billing questions or payment status
Qualification
Required
1+ years in a similar role is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person if you have a strong work ethic, good with numbers, and a knack for organization
You take pride in double-checking your work and catching small errors
You can manage multiple tasks without letting things fall through the cracks
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn our specific software. Experience with accounting software is a plus
A professional and friendly approach when talking to vendors and clients, both verbally and in writing
