Responsibilities
Responsible for building and retaining a high-performing loan processing team of approximately 10-20 associates
Guide, coach, and motivate associates while effectively managing the overall flow of the pipeline and ensuring compliance with policy and procedures
Monitor overall operational systems, procedures, turnaround times, and quality to make daily operations more efficient
Coordinate the interface between lenders, loan operations group, and other departments to resolve problems and address exceptions
Support lenders with new loan originations by providing a strong operations platform
Reinforce the timely and accurate filing of original and electronic loan documentation
Establish expertise in loan documentation system, loan on-boarding, exception tracking, and other loan operation functions
Maintain and oversee accurate and effective quality control systems
Communicate with Management Team to ensure that production goals are realized, and continued focus is given to the proficiency of the team and the ability to manage the workflow of daily loan operations in accordance with established policies and procedures
Performing other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Must have at least 5 years of loan processing experience
Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Microsoft Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office 365)
High School Diploma or GED required
Highly professional and dependable
Knowledge of commonly used automotive dealership practices, concepts and procedure a must!
Preferred
Experience with call center and finance
