Responsibilities
Assist with the installation and configuration of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and firewalls
Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve basic issues
Support network security by implementing standard protocols and assisting in risk mitigation
Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for team reference
Provide technical support to users and escalate complex problems as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address network-related issues
Maintain backups and support redundancy strategies
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two (2) years and basic knowledge of networking tools, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques
Firewall configuration and VPN setup
Troubleshooting
Networking protocols
Configuring and managing network devices
Network security implementations
DoD 8140 Compliance Required
U.S. Citizenship is Required
Candidates must have an active clearance OR the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance and will be subject to a US security background investigation
