Akkodis is seeking an AWS Cloud Enablement Engineer for a contract with a client in Woodland Hills, CA. The role involves designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure leveraging AWS services and Infrastructure-as-Code automation.

Responsibilities

Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using reusable components and best practices
Develop and deploy Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules for provisioning and managing AWS resources and Landing Zones
Implement and monitor cloud security controls (IAM, encryption, firewalls) to ensure compliance with industry standards
Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs through rightsizing and cost-saving strategies
Support migration and modernization initiatives, including re-platforming and re-architecting applications for cloud-native environments
Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and operational excellence

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (master's preferred)

Hands-on experience in building and deploying Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
Proven ability to provision, manage, and monitor security for AWS resources and Landing Zones, ensuring compliance with industry standards
