Responsibilities
Source candidates through job boards, social media, community outreach, and other recruitment channels
Review and screen incoming applications and resumes
Conduct candidate interviews and guide candidates through the hiring process
Manage onboarding from offer through clearance, ensuring all required steps are completed accurately and on time
Collect, review, and track required documentation in compliance with company and district requirements
Ensure candidates understand expectations related to attendance, professionalism, and assignment commitments
Maintain consistent follow-up with candidates to ensure readiness for placement
Support daily placement efforts by assisting with filling unfilled substitute assignments in the region
Maintain contact with new hires after placement to support attendance, performance, and behavioral expectations
Monitor candidate activity and escalate concerns related to reliability or engagement
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in applicant tracking and HR systems
Communicate regularly with leadership regarding candidate progress, challenges, and outcomes
Provide professional, responsive customer service to candidates and internal team members
Attend job fairs or local recruitment events as needed
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Perform other duties as assigned to support recruiting and onboarding operations
Qualification
Required
Associate (Required)
Full cycle recruiting: 2 years (Required)
Strong follow-through and ability to complete tasks without constant supervision
Reliable attendance and consistent work habits
Clear and timely communication with leadership and team members
Ability to manage high-volume activity while maintaining accuracy
Willingness to follow established processes and accept coaching
Professionalism when representing the company to candidates and partners
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with applicant tracking systems or HR platforms preferred
Familiarity with e-signature tools and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams)
