Responsibilities
You are responsible for supporting and maintaining the Local Area Networks (LANs) within the building
You install and provide ongoing support for server-based software applications
You develop plans for migrating server-based software or products
You are tasked with troubleshooting network and software issues that may arise within the LAN environment
You are tasked with setup, breakdown, and maintaining the physical Audio-Visual equipment
You work closely with department heads to address identified issues and trends
You conduct regular inspections of guest areas to ensure they meet expected standards of cleanliness, functionality, and service
You are tasked with troubleshooting audio visual issues that may arise within the environment
Qualification
Required
A post-secondary school degree/diploma in computer science or hospitality with strong computer skills to ensure running of system
Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in and around Hospitality will be reviewed
Technology proficiency with thorough working knowledge of Hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, Reservation, KeyLock, and Microsoft Suites
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work with staff in all levels of the hotel to ensure the ultimate guest/colleague satisfaction
Working knowledge of Servers, Workstations, Door Locks, Telecom, Imaging Systems, Digital Display Boards, Sharepoint, and Fiber
Professional demeanor, with exceptional verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
Must be flexible with scheduling. Weekends or on-call may be required
Ability to work in an agile environment
2 years of related IT experience
Bachelors/Associate's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field
Preferred
Previous experience with PCI SAQD and GDPR comes highly recommended
Computer/server hardware/OS experience preferred
