Responsibilities
Cause to have prepared and filed the indirect tax returns (sales/use tax, VAT/GST, excise, etc.) across multiple jurisdictions
Ensure timely and accurate payment of tax liabilities
Maintain documentation and records to support filings and audits
Assist with the management and application of customer tax exemptions
Assist with the management of internal and external audits related to indirect taxes
Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance tax reporting systems
Automate tax calculations and improve data accuracy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field
Two (2) - four (4) years of experience in indirect tax compliance or advisory (public accounting or corporate tax environment, preferred)
Strong knowledge of U.S. sales/use tax; knowledge of VAT/GST is a plus
Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion is a plus) and tax software (Avalara is a plus)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred
Experience with multi-state or global indirect tax compliance
Proficiency with data analytics tools (Excel, Access, Alteryx)
Experience in the Telecommunications industry is a plus
