Responsibilities

Support major design reviews at the vehicle and subsystem-level
Support major Flight Test Milestones and range operations
Lead working groups and collaborate with customer representatives and LM SMEs from various disciplines within NGI
Draft and incorporate updates to program-level requirements and verification plans and submit Specification Change Notices (SCNs) as needed for updates to customer-owned documentation
Perform System Requirement and Verification process definition, maintenance, and execution
Support SEI teams in development of requirements and verification plans for subsystem- and unit-level specifications
Collaborate and develop relationships with geographically dispersed teams composed of various engineering disciplines
Mentor junior engineers in the fundamentals of Systems Engineering and system development
Some travel may be required

Qualification

Required

Bachelor of Science from an ABET-accredited program, or equivalent years of experience and education
Extensive knowledge across all the system engineering subject areas to include system design, architecture development, CONOPS, requirements definition, allocation, maintenance, verification/validation, system integration, systems analysis, integration assembly, and test
Support major design reviews at the vehicle and subsystem-level
Support major Flight Test Milestones and range operations
Lead working groups and collaborate with customer representatives and LM SMEs from various disciplines within NGI
