VP Insurance Integration

Responsibilities

Support execution of LIFT’s insurance distribution business plan in alignment with Lendistry’s strategic priorities
Coordinate the development and refinement of insurance workflows within parameters established by Lendistry’s loan and operations environment, ensuring seamless product delivery
Manage day-to-day relationships with insurance partners (e.g., Coverdash, Ladder Life, and future partners) while escalating strategic decisions to leadership
Collaborate with leadership on identifying and onboarding additional carrier and product partners
Work with the Lendistry Product Team to map, design, and implement end-to-end processes for insurance sales, fulfillment, and compliance across lending workflows
Ensure referral processes comply with state insurance regulations and anti-rebating laws, in addition to coordinating and collaborating with Compliance to maintain compliance with other relevant regulatory frameworks
Serve as liaison for technology integrations between Lendistry systems and partner portals, in partnership with Operations and Technology teams
Collaborate with the Lendistry Marketing team to provide insurance-specific subject matter expertise for collateral (e.g., website content, social media, email campaigns, print/digital materials)
Request and support development of outbound campaigns led by Marketing, while ensuring alignment with compliance standards and brand guidelines
Track performance of insurance-related marketing initiatives in coordination with Marketing Analytics
Identify, recommend and help implement an agency management system (AMS) and CRM tailored to LIFT’s needs, in collaboration with Lendistry’s Operations and Technology teams
Propose scalable processes for sales, fulfillment, compliance, and customer service, that satisfy the requirements outlined by core operations leadership
Coordinate data integration across systems under the guidance of Technology and Data teams
Documentation of business processes and development of SOP’s for the division
Provide content and context for training programs and enablement materials for loan officers and customer-facing teams to generate insurance referrals
Monitor and report KPIs for insurance adoption rates, conversion rates, and revenue per customer Surface cross-sell opportunities to leadership and collaborate on approved outreach
Ensure adherence to P&C and L&H licensing requirements in all active states. Confirm that all insurance-related activities meet regulatory standards and internal policies
Partner and collaborate with Compliance to support internal audits of insurance transactions

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, risk management, or a related field
Active Life/Health and Property/Casualty insurance licenses (multi-state or ability to obtain within 90 days)
Continuing education and compliance knowledge for maintaining active licenses
7+ years of experience in insurance distribution, financial services, or related industries, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
Proven track record of successfully integrating insurance offerings into existing business operations
Experience managing partnerships with carriers, distribution partners and distribution platforms
Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing campaigns, including website, social media, email, and print collateral
Experience with outbound marketing programs, including call center collaboration
Prior involvement in implementation of business systems, including distribution platforms, agency management systems (AMS) and CRM platforms
Strong understanding of insurance regulatory requirements, compliance, and anti-rebating rules across multiple states
Proficient in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and digital marketing tools
Familiarity with agency management systems and carrier quoting platforms
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies
High degree of initiative, problem-solving skills, and adaptability in a dynamic environment
