Project Manager I, II, III - Traffic Studies

NEOGOV is seeking a Project Manager I, II, or III for the St. Louis County Department of Transportation. This role is responsible for managing the Traffic Studies section of Traffic Operations, supervising staff, preparing reports, and advising citizens on traffic matters.

Responsibilities

Evaluates the need for traffic control devices by applying traffic engineering policies and principles in conjunction with field operations
Supervises employees by assigning work and providing technical expertise and instruction
Documents the performance of employees and completes annual performance evaluations
Prepares council reports, letters and memos
Advises citizens via telephone/email on traffic matters
Assists in annual budget preparation for Traffic Studies section
Represents the Department in meetings with community officials
Performs other duties as assigned

Civil Engineering DegreeRegistered Professional EngineerEngineer Intern RegistrationTraffic Studies ExperienceSupervisory SkillsBudget PreparationCommunication Skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or related Engineering field from an ABET accredited school
For Project Manager II: Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and registered as an Engineering Intern with the Missouri Board of Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors
For Project Manager III: Registered Professional Engineer by the Missouri Board of Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors; or a Registered Professional Architect by the Missouri Board of Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors, and five years of practical experience
Current valid driver's license
