Responsibilities

Define, evolve, and execute the brand strategy as the company scales
Own positioning, brand architecture, audience clarity, and narrative development
Ensure the brand remains emotionally resonant, differentiated, and culturally relevant
Act as final decision-maker and guardian of the brand
Prepare the brand for retail expansion and broader cultural relevance
Lead creative direction across campaigns, packaging, content, and product launches
Ensure storytelling feels human, original, and unmistakably aligned with the brand
Balance brand-building creative with performance marketing needs
Protect and push brand coherence while encouraging innovation
Build and maintain brand systems across tone, messaging, and visual identity
Ensure alignment across all touchpoints: paid, organic, email/SMS, website, retail, packaging, PR
Create flexible frameworks that empower teams to move quickly without diluting the brand
Actively course-correct if brand drift is observed
Partner with Growth to tightly align brand and performance
Collaborate with Product and Innovation teams on launches and line extensions
Align with CX and Community teams to ensure the brand promise matches the customer experience
Serve as a confident voice on the executive team
Hire, lead, and mentor a high-performing brand and creative team
Set clear standards for creative quality and execution
Foster a culture of thoughtful iteration vs. unnecessary reinvention

Required

10+ years in brand leadership within CPG, wellness, or lifestyle—ideally across both DTC and retail channels
Proven success in scaling brand equity without compromising taste or creative integrity
Strong creative judgment paired with operational excellence
Ability to toggle between big-picture brand vision and day-to-day execution
Data-informed decision-maker with strong business intuition
Deep understanding of consumer psychology and emotional resonance
Experience working closely with founders and executive teams

Preferred

Experience in subscription-based DTC businesses
Demonstrated ability to build a cult-like brand following
Passion for wellness, rituals, and daily habits
Track record of success during periods of rapid growth
