Responsibilities
Create pricing signs, flyers and coupons from standardized templates in Adobe InDesign
Able to accurately follow a document that has detailed product and pricing information for the event and check your work for accuracy
Make edits/corrections to layouts as deemed necessary by proof readers and design managers
Adhere to the Harbor Freight Tools design style set by senior management and executives
Review, prioritize and mark off assignments in the project management tool
Apply established corporate branding and style specifications to ensure work meets brand guidelines
Regularly communicate status of assigned projects to manager
Establish and maintain effective relationships with team members and business associates
Additional duties as assigned by manager
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years of graphic design training required
Minimum of 2 years of hands on graphic design production experience required
Good productivity and high-quality work
Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
Position may be required to work beyond normal scheduled work hours as necessitated by business
Thorough knowledge of Macintosh Desktop Computer and Adobe Creative Suite is required
Must be quick, efficient, skilled in design software and able to successfully juggle multiple projects and timelines
Must have good eye for type, style and detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills; solid command of English language
Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure
Creative flair with ability to conceptualize and visualize finished product
Able to work effectively as a team member
Ability to work seated for long periods of time and maintain concentration and accuracy
Good organizational skills
Low incidence of errors
Preferred
Intermediate Adobe InDesign skills. Familiar with full Adobe Creative Suite
