This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing purchasing activities, developing procedures, and maintaining vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with policies.

Update and monitor a system of controls for purchasing activities at RCSC
Ensure all service agreements and COIs with key vendors are active, and process contract renewals when needed
Conduct periodic audits of purchasing contracts at RCSC to ensure compliance with policies
Working with Accounting, ensure all capital purchases are recorded in the Fixed Asset Register and the Reserve Study
Conduct periodic audits of pricing for goods and services on accounts used by RCSC
Assist Facilities with capital budgeting proposals and financial justifications for capital projects
Assist in the preparation of an Approved Vendor List for project managers and solicit pre-qualification information from bidders
Maintain positive relationships with vendors and subcontractors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or other relevant field
A strong background in purchasing management, contracts, and solicitation processes
A high level of Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Preferred
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various teams
Time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
