Responsibilities
Perform advanced NDE techniques in accordance with TEAM procedures, client specifications, and industry codes (ASME, API, AWS, etc.)
Operate and configure advanced equipment and scanning systems
Collect, interpret, and analyze complex inspection data and provide accurate, detailed reports and recommendations
Interface directly with clients and engineers to explain findings and ensure all mission critical objectives have been met
Maintain proficiency in data acquisition software and digital reporting platforms
Supervise and mentor junior technicians or assistants in advanced inspection setups and fieldwork
Contribute to project planning, scan plans, procedure development, and technique qualification reviews as needed/required
Adhere to TEAM’s Life Critical Expectations and all site-specific safety protocols
Uphold industry codes and TEAM’s standards of professionalism, integrity, and quality
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening background check
Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials
Ability to provide relevant documentation in support of obtaining one or multiple Team Level II Qualifications/Certifications in accordance with Team's written practice and certification schema
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate results to peers, clients, and supervisors
Ability to travel, work extended hours, and operate in field environments including confined spaces, elevated work areas, and extreme weather
Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver in a standard, refinery or plant environment to include the ability to access elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells except when performing non-field duties
Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employees to communicate effectively
Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employees to investigations
Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to perform routine office duties
Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations
Ability to maintain focus and multitask with effective communication skills
Preferred
Multiple Conventional NDT Level II/III certifications or ASNT/PCN/CGSB equivalencies
API 510/570/653, CWI, AMPP or other advanced certifications
Radiation Safety Training / IRRSP or State Industrial Radiographer Card (if applicable to RT)
Prior experience working in refineries, petrochemical plants, pipeline projects, or fabrication shops
Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications
