They are seeking a VP of Projects to lead their Powered Land Development business and scale their project pipeline from concept through commercial operation, driving enterprise-level growth and defining the future of their development function.

Responsibilities
You will lead, mentor, and grow a team of project development managers and engineers across multiple concurrent projects
You will oversee data center development projects from site identification through commercial operation - ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining quality standards
You will cultivate and manage relationships with strategic data center customers on critical projects while coaching and supporting your development team in their customer engagements
You will lead strategic business development including exploring new power markets, evaluating innovative business models within existing markets, and continuously assessing our current approach
You will collaborate with our CEO, COO, engineering, sales, and operations teams to align on strategy, resolve complex challenges, and drive company-wide initiatives
Qualification
Required
End-to-end data center development experience
Experience in leading and mentoring teams
Ability to oversee data center development projects from site identification through commercial operation
Strong strategic customer and stakeholder management skills
Experience in business development and pipeline growth
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including CEO, COO, engineering, sales, and operations
Preferred
Experience in high-growth startup environments
Experience in managing relationships with data center operators, utilities, energy partners, investors, and capital markets participants
Experience in conducting enterprise-level feasibility assessments
