Responsibilities
Design and implement MongoDB schemas with effective document modeling and indexing strategies
Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using MongoDB with Node.js, Java, and Python
Perform query optimization, profiling, and performance tuning to improve overall database efficiency
Manage critical database operations including replication, sharding, backup, restore, and transaction handling
Build and optimize data pipelines using the MongoDB Aggregation Framework
Monitor database performance using MongoDB Ops Manager and Atlas to proactively identify and resolve issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
6–8 years of hands‑on experience working with MongoDB and backend development
Strong proficiency in MongoDB schema design, indexing, aggregation, and performance tuning
Experience in building backend services using Node.js, Java, or Python while managing core MongoDB operations like replication, sharding, and backup/restore
