Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft to ensure operational availability
Perform electrical and/or avionics modifications to aircraft
Lead, train, and direct contractor personnel in familiarization, maintenance and modification of aircraft systems
Maintain and update aircraft records and documentation in hard copy and computerized systems
Identify and source materials for aircraft maintenance and modifications
Receive material and update material inventories
Qualification
Required
Must be US Citizen
Secret clearance
Ten (10) years' experience
High school diploma
Industry/military training in aircraft avionics systems
FAA/FCC avionics certification(s) required
Ability to work unsupervised to lead the maintenance and modification of a variety of turboprop fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft in domestic or overseas locations during operations, training, and test events
Ability to work with flight crews, equipment manufacturers, and engineers to install, test, and troubleshoot new and existing systems/subsystems on aircraft
Physical requirements for the job include ability to work safely on the exterior and interior of aircraft, either outdoors or inside hangar
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and comply with OSHA standards
