Responsible for accurately processing electronic payments, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and providing exceptional customer service to our members
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED equivalent
2 years previous ACH and/or other payment related experience
Cross train in Operations (if not transferred from this department) within the first year on the job
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve payment-related issues
Knowledge of credit union products, services, and policies
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Ability to operate a personal computer and associated windows based software
Ability to operate standard office equipment such as fax, copy and 10 key adding machines
Ability to provide service to coworkers and members in a timely manner
Ability to perform minor math calculations
Ability to organize time and duties effectively
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, members, and the public
Ability to work independently and quickly
Ability to pay attention to details, be proficient and accurate
Ability to be flexible and handle more than one task at a time
Ability to handle phone inquiries to the satisfaction of management and members
