Responsibilities
Provide technical support and solutions to customers in pre-sales and post-sales stages
Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable semiconductor products or systems
Validate customer facing solutions in the lab to ensure system performance with our proposed solutions
Develop and deliver product presentations, technical documentation, and training
Support design-in efforts for customer projects (e.g., embedded systems, precise time solutions, power electronics, RF)
Conduct in-depth technical problem solving and root cause analysis
Participate in field trials, customer visits, and technical workshops across the region
Stay current with semiconductor trends, applications, and competitive landscape
Direct involvement with product marketing in product roadmap synthesis and next-generation solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field
5+ years of experience in semiconductor applications, support, or product engineering
Solid knowledge of Analog/digital electronics
Solid knowledge of Integrated Circuit technology
Solid knowledge of Oscillators
Solid knowledge of PLL
Solid knowledge of Clock Distribution
Solid knowledge of Embedded Systems
Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, oscilloscope, signal generators, phase noise analyzer etc
Hands on experience with Python scripting for lab automation
Hands on experience with embedded C
Strong problem-solving skills and experience in debugging hardware/software systems
Excellent verbal and written communication and customer-facing skills
Preferred
Analytical mindset: Ability to diagnose complex issues in electronic systems and propose effective solutions
System-level thinking: Understanding how semiconductor components fit within larger system architectures (e.g., EVs, industrial automation, telecom)
Detail-oriented: Precision is critical when working with datasheets, layout guidelines, and electrical specifications
Tech-savvy: Comfortable with simulation tools, lab equipment, embedded systems, and common programming/scripting languages (e.g., C, Python, MATLAB)
Customer-focused: Strong commitment to supporting clients and understanding their needs from a system and business perspective
Clear communicator: Able to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
Collaborative spirit: Works well with cross-functional teams, including sales, R&D, and product marketing
Cultural adaptability: Comfortable working in diverse, multinational environments
Reliability: Dependable, structured, and consistent in delivering high-quality work on time
