InternSomarae is an early-stage AI wellness startup, and they are seeking a Community Development Intern to help grow and nurture their ecosystem. The role involves supporting partnerships, community growth initiatives, and relationship-building across various spaces.

Responsibilities
Support community growth initiatives across digital and real-world spaces
Assist with outreach to potential partners, collaborators, creators, and aligned brands
Help manage relationships with ambassadors, early users, and community members
Support partnerships with wellness spaces, tech communities, and event collaborators
Assist with planning and coordination for events, activations, and community gatherings
Engage with our community through messages, emails, and touchpoints
Contribute ideas to strengthen belonging, engagement, and long-term community growth
Qualification
Required
Passionate about wellness, mental health, lifestyle, consumer brands, etc
Curious about startups and how early-stage tech companies grow
Experienced (or eager to learn) working in fast-moving startup environments
Naturally relational — you love connecting people and building bridges
Organized, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats
Interest or experience working in a tech startup environment
Understanding of how early-stage companies operate (scrappy, fast, evolving)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable initiating conversations and following up
Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple moving parts
Alignment with Somarae's mission and values
Preferred
Bonus: experience in community-led startups, creator communities, wellness brands, or tech ecosystems
