InternScheels is a leading retailer in the USA, and they are seeking a Retail Planning Intern to assist with various tasks related to retail planning and store development. The intern will work closely with a Retail Planner to research trends, design retail fixtures, and analyze budgets for projects.

Responsibilities
Learn a variety of tasks related to the Store Development Retail Planner position such as:
Review proposed architectural drawings and make recommendations for improvement prior to their release
Work as a team alongside hired contractors, architects and engineers to develop design documents for retail and office projects
Evaluate construction progress and write punch list and site observation reports
Write and issue purchase orders for needed materials and fixtures
Execute project work plans to complete the task on time with appropriate revisions to meet changing needs and requirements
Strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement
Detail oriented, organized, ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of accuracy
Strong oral/written communication and computer skills
Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
Competent in AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu
