New Grad, Entry LevelLCS is a not-for-profit retirement community with a long history of excellence and quality care. They are currently seeking a hospitality-minded full-time Billing Specialist responsible for managing resident billing, insurance verifications, and account receivables.

Responsibilities
Compiles and inputs data into the computer for Resident billing
Performs Insurance verifications as necessary
Compiles and Inputs data into the computer for assigned areas of billing
Follows up on all account receivables to insure aging accounts are collected
Sets up new payor sources as necessary
Runs necessary reports. Maintains backup and support documents
Maintains ledgers and storage binders in an orderly fashion
Posts payments to the receivable
Files paperwork
Assists Accounting Supervisor & Director with accounting duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding care and service to residents
Ability to compile and input data into the computer for Resident billing
Experience performing Insurance verifications as necessary
Capability to follow up on all account receivables to ensure aging accounts are collected
Skill in setting up new payor sources as necessary
Ability to run necessary reports and maintain backup and support documents
Experience maintaining ledgers and storage binders in an orderly fashion
Skill in posting payments to the receivable
Ability to file paperwork
Willingness to assist Accounting Supervisor & Director with accounting duties, as assigned
