Responsibilities
Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for aerospace and defense applications
Develop detailed schematics , perform component selection , and lead design reviews
Create simulation models and perform SPICE (or equivalent) analyses for:
Signal integrity
Power integrity
Thermal performance
Noise analysis
Troubleshoot and resolve circuit-level issues during prototype build, integration, and qualification
Support environmental, EMI/EMC, DO-254, and reliability testing
Develop test plans , perform bench testing, and document results
Create and maintain engineering documentation including:
Schematics
BOMs
Design notes
Verification and validation reports
Ensure compliance with applicable industry and regulatory standards (DO-160, DO-254, IPC, MIL-STD, as required)
Participate in internal and customer design reviews , ensuring traceability to system requirements
Collaborate closely with systems, software, PCB layout, and manufacturing engineering teams
Provide circuit-level technical support during:
Production builds
Supplier discussions
Root cause and failure investigations
Support program schedules, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
12–18 years of Electrical Design Engineering experience
Strong background in the Aerospace & Defense domain
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Hands-on experience with safety-critical hardware development
Deep understanding of regulated aerospace standards and certification processes
U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred
Experience supporting DO-254 certification efforts
Prior involvement in EMI/EMC qualification testing
Experience working with cross-functional IPTs in aerospace programs
