Serve as the Chief Academic Officer, with broad responsibilities for the planning, development, assessment, and administration of educational programs and student support services
Provide effective leadership and management to ensure the quality of the educational experience, promoting academic excellence, and leading innovations that respond to a rapidly changing environment
Work closely with faculty to plan, develop, and assess academic programs, including non-credit and workforce development programs
Oversee the systematic assessment of all academic programs and student services to ensure continuous improvement
Maintain compliance with employee bargaining unit contracts and participate in the negotiating process as needed
Qualification
Required
Earned doctorate
Minimum of two academic years of full-time faculty undergraduate teaching experience
Proven track record of progressively responsible academic administrative experience
Strong commitment to the community college mission
Experience in curricular and program development
Successful record in strategic planning, fiscal management, and personnel supervision
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including local, state, and federal agencies
Commitment to shared governance
Commitment to a collegial environment
Commitment to the development of a diverse workforce
Ability to maintain compliance with employee bargaining unit contracts
Participation in the negotiating process as needed
