The ERS Payment Specialist is responsible for processing timely and accurate payments to Emergency Roadside Service providers, ensuring compliance with contracts and maintaining proper records.
Consumer Services
Responsibilities
Process daily invoices from providers in ERS payment system
Perform daily audits of ERS transactions to ensure compliance with contracts and business rules
Process, prepare, and distribute payments twice a month
Maintain proper records and documentation of all payments to providers
Resolve payment discrepancies with service providers
Assist other departments with researching and resolving ERS issues
Responsible for updating and maintaining provider contracts in ERS back-office system
Collaborate with Automotive Services team members for any issues or updates to the ERS Network
Assist with special projects on an as-needed basis
Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals
Incorporates AAA’s vision, mission and values in day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to AAA’s vision mission and values
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
1+ year experience in office support or administrative field
Competent in MS Office, including Excel, and navigating the internet
Competent at navigating various business systems and programs, including online mapping applications
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong arithmetic skills
Ability to handle confidential documents and information
Ability to address multiple demands and competing priorities in a changing environment
Skilled at working independently; able to prioritize and complete assignments with minimal direction
Skilled in handling urgent situations professionally and willing to take extra measures when solving problems
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing, including effective use of listening skills
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
Preferred
Associate Degree (AA) in business or related field preferred
1+ year experience in automotive or roadside delivery industry preferred
