Responsibilities
Facilitate best-in-class vendor relationships through timely payments and professional communication
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable; from invoice processing and account maintenance to reconciliations and reporting
Review and organize expense reports and receipts; resolve discrepancies with appropriate documentation
Maintain accurate, organized electronic records of invoices, payments, and related documents
Prepare weekly check runs and manage trade payables
Use technology to streamline processes and create efficiencies
Provide accurate, professional support in person, by phone, and via email
Qualification
Required
1–2 years of Accounts Payable experience
Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and calculations
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
A positive, can-do attitude with a proactive and adaptable mindset
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Professional, approachable demeanor with a strong sense of discretion and integrity
Preferred
Construction industry experience
Experience with accounting software (Sage 300 experience preferred)
