Business Development Manager

Confidential is a private, member-based organization seeking a self-motivated Business Development & Membership Manager to drive new member growth. The role involves independent lead generation and ownership of the full membership development process, from prospecting to conversion.

Independently generate new membership leads through outreach, networking, referrals, and community engagement
Build and maintain a strong prospect pipeline capable of supporting consistent monthly growth
Conduct tours, meetings, and follow-up conversations with prospective members
Develop and execute outreach strategies to attract new members
Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity and pipeline records in a CRM
Track and report on outreach activity, pipeline progress, and results
Collaborate with internal members and managers to support membership initiatives

Consistent, independent lead generation and ownership of the full membership development process — from prospecting to conversion

Conduct tours, meetings, and follow-up conversations with prospective members
Develop and execute outreach strategies to attract new members

Demonstrated ability to proactively source leads without reliance on others
Maintain a healthy and active prospect pipeline
Achieve consistent net positive monthly membership growth
Strong follow-up, accountability, and ownership of outcomes
Proven experience in business development, sales, or membership growth
Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships independently
Results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
Highly organized and disciplined in managing a sales pipeline
CRM experience required
Professional, confident communicator
