Responsibilities
Provide day to day paralegal services with respect to construction claims and litigation, including compiling and reviewing documentation in support of the laboratory
Conduct legal research on relevant issues as needed
Qualification
Required
Associates degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; or Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
All candidates must be U.S. citizens
Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter
All candidates must be able to pass a drug test in compliance with FMP company policy and 10 CFR 707
Preferred
Detail oriented
Experience with Construction Claims and Litigation, Project Controls, Contract Management, and Cost Tracking
Organized, motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines
Demonstrated strong team player, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to adapt to change, work under deadlines, use good judgment, be reliable and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel required
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
