Responsibilities
Engage in microprocessor/microcontroller system design
Design memory systems and circuits with FPGA/CPLD/PAL devices
Conduct Ethernet and USB design, testing, and certification
Work with digital and analog electronics, power supply, and I/O circuits
Utilize design tools for schematic capture and PCB layout
Perform board-level and system-level design verification tests
Implement EMI noise reduction techniques and countermeasures for PCB layout
Test to EMC/EMI regulatory certifications
Conduct signal integrity measurements using network analyzers and oscilloscopes
Perform product testing for environmental and certification test standards
Manage prototype builds from BOM creation to build change requests
Contribute to functional safety product development with IEC61508 standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (We do not sponsor employment visas for this position.)
Preferred
Typically requires 5 years of relevant experience in electronics product design
A strong passion for hardware engineering and a desire for continuous improvement
Experience with VHDL or Verilog
