Responsibilities
Manage and execute projects involving green stormwater infrastructure with elements of water and wastewater including planning, design, and construction phases
Lead multidisciplinary design teams, coordinating multiple assignments simultaneously
Develop and review project scope, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress against baselines
Provide technical leadership in GSI design (e.g., bioretention, bioswales, permeable pavements, tree trenches) and stormwater management strategies
Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company in stakeholder meetings and public outreach
Ensure compliance with regional regulations, including MS4 permitting, stormwater ordinances, and climate resilience standards
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
8+ years in water, wastewater, and/or stormwater projects, with demonstrated GSI expertise
Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania preferred or ability to obtain within one year
Proven ability to manage projects, including budgets, schedules, staff, and client interface
Strong technical skills in AutoCAD Civil3D, GIS tools, and stormwater modeling
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare reports and deliver presentations
Familiarity with green infrastructure best practices, climate adaptation strategies, and regulatory compliance
Preferred
M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Knowledge of MS4 compliance, Atlas 14 rainfall data, and emerging stormwater regulations
PMP certification or equivalent project management training
