Responsibilities

Assist frontline associates with account opening in complex commercial verticals such as Private Equity, Entertainment Finance, Corporate Banking, Commercial & Industrial, Structure Finance, Asset Based Financing, Sponsor Finance, Technology, Media Markets, and Capital Markets. Partner with Relationship Managers and other EWB professionals in other segments to acquire, expand and retain targeted client relationships
Work with GTP Management to produce and maintain presentations for external use, with prospects, clients, service providers; and for conferences
Work with GTP Management to produce and maintain presentations for internal use, for presentations to Senior Management, Peers Groups, and Regulators
May perform other duties as assigned
Review DACA and Control account agreements, and act as a liaison between East West Bank legal department, and Relationship Teams/Customers
Manage and maintain DACA and Controlled account list, agreements, and policy & procedures
Working with complex commercial clients in conjunction with RMs, GTP Consultants, and back office support staff to put in place optimal operating account structures
Working with clients, RMs, and BSA/DCI/KYC colleagues to obtain all appropriate documentation to clear business customer to open accounts at EWB
Provide point-of-contact support for Deposit related and Treasury Management matters for commercial clients. Act as an expert advisor for the clients. Resolve client requests and/or issues independently
Create compelling presentations to convey important statistics to GTP Management, EWB Senior Management, and federal and state regulators, etc

Required

Legal authorization to work in the United States
Experience in customer service, particularly with high-net-worth commercial customers
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal partners via phone, email, and in-person
Experience in managing Deposit Account Control Agreements (DACA) and Control account processes
Strong leadership skills to support peers and ensure customer satisfaction
Ability to assist frontline associates with account opening in complex commercial verticals
Experience in producing and maintaining presentations for external and internal use
Ability to review DACA and Control account agreements and liaise with legal departments
Experience in managing and maintaining DACA and Controlled account lists, agreements, and policies
Ability to work with complex commercial clients and back office support staff
Experience in obtaining appropriate documentation for business customers to open accounts
Ability to provide point-of-contact support for Deposit related and Treasury Management matters
Experience in creating presentations to convey important statistics to management and regulators
