Industrial Account Manager

The Lakeland Companies is seeking a dynamic Industrial Account Manager to serve in a cross-functional role. This position focuses on managing client relationships and driving sales opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.

Responsibilities

Foster trusting relationships with clients, Lakeland Engineering Equipment Co. staff, and our vendor partners
Communicate thoroughly and in a timely manner with clients and the Lakeland sales team
Identify sales opportunities within existing accounts
Develop prospective accounts
Assist with the identification of appropriate product substitutions as needed
Communicate with our vendor partners to obtain product samples, as well as for them to provide technical assistance to you as needed
Interface with the Lakeland Engineering Equipment Co. business system to accomplish many duties
Participates proactively in the self-education of product specifications, features and benefits
Participates in product training by others as required
Strive to achieve goals set forth by themselves and the company
Represent Lakeland Engineering Equipment Co. in a manner that is mutually beneficial to our clients, our company and our vendor partners
Accepts ownership of one’s responsibilities and assigned tasks

Qualification

Required

High school Diploma
3-5 years of account management, sales or business development experience in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment
Ability to manage various tasks in a detail-oriented manner
Foster trusting relationships with clients, Lakeland Engineering Equipment Co. staff, and our vendor partners
Communicate thoroughly and in a timely manner with clients and the Lakeland sales team
Identify sales opportunities within existing accounts
Develop prospective accounts
