Sales Development Representative
Cline is the leading open-source AI coding agent, trusted by major engineering organizations and individual developers. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative who will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying potential customers for their AI solutions.

Responsibilities
Generate and qualify new leads through outbound prospecting, email campaigns, calls, and social outreach
Research target accounts and identify the right decision-makers across industries
Craft thoughtful, personalized outreach that communicates our AI value proposition clearly and compellingly
Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ challenges and assess fit
Partner with Account Executives (AEs) to set up qualified meetings and drive pipeline growth
Maintain accurate activity and opportunity tracking in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
Collaborate with Marketing on campaign execution and feedback
Learn continuously — about our customers, the AI industry, and your own craft
Qualification
Required
1–2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
Strong communication and writing skills — comfortable engaging with technical and business stakeholders
Driven, resilient, and curious mindset — you're motivated by learning and problem-solving
Excitement about AI, technology, and innovation — eager to understand how it transforms industries
Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Apollo, HubSpot, or Salesforce
Preferred
startup or SaaS experience a plus
