Responsibilities
Architect, deploy, and support on-premises enterprise server infrastructure in a 24x7 mission-critical manufacturing environment
Provide operational support for virtualized and physical server ecosystems (Windows & Linux)
Deploy, manage, and support production Kubernetes container-based environments, including Docker-based workloads
Troubleshoot performance and availability issues across virtualized and physical workloads
Work with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure platforms such as Dell VxRail and similar technologies
Lead and support migrations from physical servers to virtualized and containerized environments
Partner with semiconductor process and equipment vendors to optimize infrastructure performance and fault tolerance
Participate in daily tier meetings with factory systems and manufacturing operations teams
Collaborate with Corporate IT and Global Security teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity and semiconductor security standards
Support infrastructure resilience strategies, including backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
Document infrastructure designs, configurations, automation scripts, and operational procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise server ecosystems in production environments
5+ years of experience with Windows Server and RHEL Linux (5–9.x) administration
3+ years of experience with ServiceNow or a comparable IT service management platform
3+ years of experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware, vSAN, vSphere, and NSX
1+ year of hands-on, production experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment, configuration, and operational support
Demonstrated experience with server automation or Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Tanium, Chef, PowerShell, JSON, Ruby, or similar scripting languages)
Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing, and switching
Experience supporting backup, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies
Proven ability to clearly document infrastructure, automation, and system configurations
Preferred
Advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
Experience with Windows patching tools such as Tanium and OS hardening/security standards
Experience across the full software development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing, and production support)
Experience supporting network infrastructure (Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches)
Experience with enterprise backup and recovery platforms such as Rubrik
Experience supporting IT/OT systems, manufacturing execution systems (MES), and industrial automation environments
Knowledge of SCADA, industrial network architectures, and manufacturing-focused Windows-based systems
Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across technical and business teams
Self-driven, proactive mindset with the ability to operate independently in complex environments
