Responsibilities
Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax regulations
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
Support audits and liaise with external accountants or tax advisors
Improve and document accounting processes and internal controls
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a part-time capacity
Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial models)
Preferred
CPA preferred
Experience with Xero, NetSuite, or Sage preferred
Familiarity with expense management tools and payroll systems is a plus
