Business Analyst

ECS is a leading mid-sized provider of technology services to the United States Federal Government, seeking a Business Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). In this role, you will contribute to a strategic operations portfolio at DHS headquarters, working across diverse areas such as policy, finance, security, governance, and PMO.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing briefs for program and executive meetings
Support execution of strategic initiatives and creation of project artifacts, including charters, schedules, and briefing updates
Lead status tracking and reporting on meetings and activities
Help the project team implement change management best practices
Drive progress toward program objectives and strategic operations
Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders
Conduct trade-off analyses of business and technical requirements

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance
7+ years of experience in systems analysis/design of information systems programs
5+ years of experience in IT
Strong writing, organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience in project management and strategic planning
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

Special consideration for candidates with existing Public Trust clearance
Prior experience supporting Federal customers (DHS preferred)
Experience working in IT modernization environments
Working knowledge of change management and project management best practices
Ability to facilitate consensus among stakeholders with diverging perspectives
Project management certifications (CAPM, PMP)
Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence)
