Responsibilities

Identify challenges, mitigate risks, and support a team with vision and focus
Design, implement, and maintain impactful programs by guiding a program management team across multiple projects and contracts
Organize and coordinate program objectives for client’s contractor officers
Identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting client’s mission
Broaden expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more

Required

8+ years of experience in program or project management
3+ years of experience leading a PMO or enterprise-level programs
Experience with continuous improvement
Experience leading, mentoring, and evaluating program and project management staff
Ability to manage large, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders
Ability to establish and enforce PMO standards, policies, controls, and performance metrics aligned with program objectives
Ability to manage competing priorities and drive on-time delivery across multiple programs
Ability to manage and track financials and budgets, and manage associated risks
Ability to pay strict attention to detail and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance in program documentation, reporting, and deliverables driving to delivery excellence
Bachelor's degree

Preferred

8+ years of experience in program and project management within a government or public sector environment
Experience with government-approved project management and reporting tools, such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or SharePoint
Knowledge of government governance, compliance, and oversight requirements, such as GAO, OMB, FAR, and state or local regulatory frameworks
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder-influencing skills
Possession of excellent time-management and prioritization skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Law or a related field preferred; Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent a plus
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent Certification
