Infinite Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced RF and microwave components for their product lines. The role involves managing complex projects, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with customers and suppliers to ensure quality and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

Develop RF and microwave components (e.g., coaxial connectors, adapters, cable assemblies, attenuators, terminations, antennas) to meet customer and market requirements focusing on innovation
Perform simulations and modeling using industry-standard tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS, CST)
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
Analyze customer requirements and propose feasible, cost-effective solutions
Define and execute test plans for RF performance (VSWR, insertion loss, return loss, PIM, etc.)
Troubleshoot and resolve design or performance issues
Interfacing and collaborating with customers to define specifications that meet their needs
Work closely with manufacturing, quality, sourcing and external suppliers to ensure design manufacturability and cost optimization
Provide technical support to sales and application engineering teams
Stay current with RF/microwave industry trends and emerging technologies
Recommend design enhancements and new product opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
Minimum 10 years of RF/microwave design experience, preferably in passive components and assemblies
Proven track record in product development for high-frequency applications (up to 67 GHz or higher)

Preferred

Expertise in RF/microwave theory, transmission lines, impedance matching, and connector design
Proficiency with CAD tools and RF simulation software (HFSS, ADS, CST)
Familiarity with industry standards (MIL-STD, IEC, IEEE)
Strong project management and mentoring skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
