Responsibilities
Supporting cross-functional improvement efforts for a production area
Identifying areas of focus for production improvement across a wide scope
Work directly with and in support of the production operations team
Performing observations and time studies to support cost driver analysis and process improvement
Using visualization and data analytic tools to analyze production processes
Applying Lean and Six-Sigma practices to production and leading major improvement efforts
Assisting in new product development and proposal efforts with data analysis
Qualification
Required
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Supporting cross-functional improvement efforts for a production area
Identifying areas of focus for production improvement across a wide scope
Work directly with and in support of the production operations team
Performing observations and time studies to support cost driver analysis and process improvement
Using visualization and data analytic tools to analyze production processes
Applying Lean and Six-Sigma practices to production and leading major improvement efforts
Assisting in new product development and proposal efforts with data analysis
Preferred
Experience developing, monitoring, and reporting metrics related to cost and schedule performance
Experience with forecasts, production schedules, and/or resource load staffing plans
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software
