Mid-Level Civil/Industrial Engineer, (Oil and Natural Gas Infrastructure)
Castalia Systems is seeking a Mid-Level Civil/Industrial Engineer, (Oil and Natural Gas Infrastructure), to support the government’s all source intelligence analysis of the Defense Resources and Infrastructure Office (DRI). The role involves conducting scientific and engineering research, vulnerability assessments, and integrating analytic results to support military and civilian infrastructure analysis.

Responsibilities
Supports defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific / engineering research, capability / limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis / characterizations, facility and vulnerability assessments. This includes, but not limited to, civil / industrial engineering and subdisciplines of environmental, power system, pipeline, petroleum, structural, manufacturing, geotechnical, transportation, highway, material science, seismic / earthquake, construction, hydrology, and water resource engineering
Collaboratively integrates analytic results findings or production with other related analytic efforts and assessments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience producing all-source intelligence analysis reports and briefings and input to IC databases or 7+ years of experience in all-source analysis in lieu of a degree
Knowledge of IC and Combatant Command environments
Professional or academic course work related to oil and natural gas industries, to include but not limited to extraction, refining, storage, pipeline distribution. Operations during normal and emergency operations
Work related experience, and/or similarly relevant academic experience at oil and natural gas facilities
Possess either a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering
Research, analyze, and evaluate classified and open-source intelligence; identify intelligence gaps and submit collection requirements
Make detailed, all-source assessments and prepare quality intelligence products that adhere to IC analytic tradecraft standards on complex oil and gas facilities and networks
Assess production capabilities, deficiencies, and vulnerabilities of foreign oil and natural gas industries to ascertain how they impact their military capabilities
Maintain, monitor and assure the quality of databases on facilities, installations, and networks
Perform vulnerability assessments of petroleum and national gas facilities
Collaborate with IC colleagues and foreign partners
Improve reporting through elevating the quality of requirements submitted and effective collaboration within the IC
Experience in using the following tools: iSpy, Message traffic tools, MARS, ArcPro, Geospatial data holdings tools
Preferred
3+ years of experience with Oil and Natural Gas Infrastructure
Experience with network development tools and methods
Knowledge of ICD 203/206 analytic tradecraft standards
Knowledge of the COMBATANT COMMANDS
