Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail environment
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with store leadership and/or public responders as needed
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations
Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, observe for suspicious behavior, and report maintenance hazards and/or operational issues through the appropriate channels
Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation per Allied Universal and location requirements
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
