Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement large scale distributed systems that process and serve large volumes of data and operate with very low latency
Hold a high bar for the quality of the software implementation and design of systems
Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development
Decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions that operationally scale and are easily maintained
Adopt best practices in engineering excellence in the team and have the drive to focus on scalability, resiliency, high availability and performance of applications
Willing to learn new areas, technologies to solve business problems via technical implementations
Automate business workflows and simplify engineering practices
Monitor and manage high throughput low latency systems operational health for high-availability
Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication and convey dissenting opinions in a constructive manner
Qualification
Required
5+ years of software development experience
Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
Strong computer science fundamentals and programming skills
Operate independently and able to launch high quality software solutions
Experience developing software in an agile environment with CI/CD
Expert understanding how to build and scale cloud-based applications
Proficiency in Java, C, C++, JS, React, Vue or similar programming language and technology
Strong fundamentals on building and scaling cloud-based solutions (AWS)
Proficiency in designing scalable, distributed, low latency and high throughput systems
Position may require occasional travel
Preferred
Masters or PhD in Computer Science or related field
Experience and Domain expertise in digital advertising or marketing technologies
Demonstrated experience taking a project from inception through launch
