New Grad, Entry LevelSodexo is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician I for Cone Healthcare System. The role involves assisting with the inspection and maintenance of biomedical equipment, troubleshooting medical devices, and providing customer service to clinical staff.

Responsibilities
Assist with the inspection, testing, and basic maintenance of biomedical equipment under the guidance of senior technicians
Repair and troubleshooting of medical devices to ensure equipment is safe and operational
Help document maintenance activities, repairs, and service history accurately and timely
Learn and follow regulatory standards and safety procedures related to healthcare technology
Provide responsive and courteous customer service to clinical staff and end users
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and tools
Demonstrate a willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment
Qualification
Required
Basic understanding of electronics, mechanical systems, and biomedical equipment principles
Strong interest in healthcare technology and eagerness to learn on the job
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support a customer-focused environment
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in all work activities
Positive attitude, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset
Associate degree in electronics, biomedical technology, or a related field (or currently enrolled in a relevant program)
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment and/or equivalent of military BMET program and/or AAMI certified
