Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and troubleshoot compressor systems, including VRUs, gas lift compressors, and instrument air compressors
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues and implement effective solutions
Monitor compressor performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency
Perform startup, shutdown, and operational checks as required
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and best practices
Coordinate with operations and maintenance personnel to minimize equipment downtime
Support commissioning of new or modified compressor installations as needed
Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in a safe and organized manner
Qualification
Required
Experience servicing and maintaining industrial or process compressors
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Working knowledge of compressor systems, rotating equipment, and auxiliary components
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and basic schematics
Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good communication and documentation skills
Preferred
Oilfield or energy-industry experience
Experience with VRU, gas lift, or instrument air compressor systems
Basic electrical or controls troubleshooting experience
Technical training or certification related to mechanical or industrial maintenance
