Assistant Operations Director

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and execution of operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across departments
Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
Coordinate with department heads to manage workflow, allocate resources, and resolve operational issues promptly
Analyze operational data and prepare reports to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement
Support the Operations Director in budgeting, forecasting, and managing operational expenses
Lead and mentor operational staff to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment
Implement and oversee safety protocols and risk management procedures to maintain a safe workplace
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and recommending process enhancements
Facilitate communication between senior management and operational teams to ensure alignment on objectives
Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned by senior leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar leadership role

Strong knowledge of operational best practices, compliance standards, and safety regulations
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Master's degree in Business Administration or related discipline
Experience in the specific industry relevant to the hiring organization
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and data analytics tools
Demonstrated success in change management and driving operational transformation
