Responsibilities
Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadway approaches, and perimeter areas to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured doors or gates, and policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by post
Monitor access points by verifying credentials, directing authorized persons to proper entry routes, and documenting deliveries and/or vendor activity in accordance with site requirements
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd direction, traffic flow support, and coordinating with site representatives and/or local public agencies as needed
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation; communicate observations and shift updates to Allied Universal supervisors and site leadership
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Preferred
