Project Manager
Bixal is a consulting company headquartered in Fairfax, VA, working alongside governments and organizations to help them deliver better services and experiences to the communities they serve. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing content strategy and web content activities to ensure work is delivered on schedule and within scope.

Responsibilities
Plan and manage project activities, schedules, and resources to support content strategy development and ongoing content operations
Coordinate day-to-day execution across multidisciplinary teams, including content strategists, designers, developers, and stakeholders
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and task trackers to support transparent execution and progress monitoring
Prepare and deliver recurring project status updates and monthly reports summarizing activities, accomplishments, upcoming work, risks, and issues
Monitor progress against planned activities and proactively identify, communicate, and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies
Facilitate collaboration with CMCS content owners and business stakeholders to support alignment, approvals, and timely decision-making
Support content workflow management within Drupal or similar content management systems, including coordination of content editing, review, and publication processes
Ensure project activities align with established content strategy, governance processes, and applicable standards
Other relevant duties as assigned and qualified/trained to perform
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, plus at least 5 years of relevant Project Management experience
Demonstrated experience serving as a Project Manager for digital, web, or content-focused initiatives
Expertise in activity planning, resource coordination, and schedule management
Proven experience developing and delivering regular project status reports and progress updates
Hands-on experience working with Drupal Content Management Systems or similar CMS platforms, with specific experience supporting content editing and publishing workflows
Experience coordinating with non-technical stakeholders, including content and business owners
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
Preferred
Certified Scrum Master or equivalent Agile certification
Experience supporting content strategy, governance, or digital service initiatives in a large or complex organizational environment
Familiarity with agile or iterative delivery approaches for digital content and web projects
Experience working on government or healthcare-related digital initiatives
