Responsibilities

Opportunity to work within a large global organization
Strong cross functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing
Visit local suppliers, support Electronics Manufacturing & Test
Responsible for new product electronic design and the life cycle of a number of platforms in a sustaining role and continuous improvement environment
Has latitude in technical decisions and approaches, but seeks out specialist guidance for complex issues
Demonstrates domain knowledge with high level understanding of design processes and procedures with ability to train others
Applies knowledge and experience to develop/enhance designs, processes, and tools
Creates strong network with other senior professionals internally and externally
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Expected to create internal/external presentations of professional quality
Communication indicates knowledge of subject matter, particularly in customer/supplier interaction
Prepares clear, technically accurate and documented design explanation
Presentations to customers are still reviewed by others
Communicates in a positive, calm, and professional manner
Understands commercially sensitive information, including how, when, and with whom to share it

Required

Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and a minimum of 8 years' experience
Knowledge of Aerospace Electronics, Manufacturing Test, PCB Layouts and IPC Standards
Extensive Circuit Analysis, Testing and Troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of these software applications a plus: Altium, Jira, DOORS, Matlab, LABVIEW, LTSpice, pSPICE, MS Office 365
Experience and proficient at working across functions within the organization
Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field of electronics
Experience with medium power Electronics, switching power supply design
Experience with power Electronics thermal performance and management
Experience with designing for, testing and resolving DO-160 EMC requirements
Power Supply Design/Development and Manufacturing Experience

Preferred

Experience in working in a multi-cultural / diverse organization
Willing to challenge the status quo
