Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development, analysis, and improvement of medical devices and engineering solutions
Support research and product development activities, including troubleshooting and providing technical input
Evaluate and suggest technology options to improve systems, processes, and facilities with a focus on safety, performance, efficiency, and cost
Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and risk and cost assessments
Work closely within a small project team to complete a real-world engineering challenge
Build your technical expertise through engineering talks, structured training, and guest speaker sessions
Take part in career development workshops focused on professional and workplace skills
Receive ongoing mentorship from both a people manager and a technical engineering mentor
Network and collaborate with other interns and professionals who are passionate about improving patients’ lives

Required

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program or higher in an engineering or closely related discipline
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
Open to current high school seniors graduating in Spring 2026 and first-year college students pursuing science or engineering degrees
Expected graduation date of Spring 2029 or Spring 2030
Must be 18 years or older at the start of the internship
